MUSTAFA KHETTY
Founder – Producer - Composer
After graduating in Management Science with a degree conferred by Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, he entered Investment Banking based in Dubai, London and New York. He later founded his own business in Information Technology and in December 2017 exited to focus on his passion for music, start-ups and alternative investments. Mehboob cofounded Morpheus Musica to attract young musicians with new musical dreams, and for his own compositions since his youth. He has little musical training and his repertoire encompasses different genres from progressive rock, jazz/latin fusion, classical, pop, psychedelic, electronic, and ethnic. A fusion of different styles and genres can often be heard in a single composition. The studio has gradually evolved to take his and his musician colleagues’ passion for music to a different level. His role at Morpheus is to inspire and motivate creative ideas.
TANJU EREN
Producer – Sound Engineer – Composer
Born in Germany and studied Engineering at Yıldız University, Philosophy at Boğaziçi University and English Literature at Istanbul University. He continued studying Classical music and is an accomplished guitar player and also Bass, Keyboards, Theramin and EWI. He was the executive editor of Science Magazine, non-linear video editor at Vizyon Postproduction, First Digital and Group Production. He produced music for films such as Neredesin Firuze , Hepsi, and Hacivat Karagöz and for musicians such as Müslüm Gürses, Aylin Aslım and Hepsi. He played in bands like Mirage, Neşe’nin Kepek Sorunu, Tibet Ağırtan among others. With the FOMA Band, he released the albums “Albüm” and”Ağzımda Tabanca” with Apocalyptica as guest musicians. Since 2012 he has been producing videos, photographs and documentaries to a wide range of companies. He offers mix and mastering to renowned musicians.
EMIRCAN UNSEV
Composer – Arranger – Sound Engineer
His musical journey began at an early when he was exposed to 70s to 90s rock/prog rock and classical music by his father. He started playing guitar during his teens. He studied music (composition and sound technologies) at Istanbul Bilgi University. While he was studying he recorded and worked with many artists and bands including some of Turkey’s best musicians. Since 2011 he has been experimenting with extended range electric guitars (7-8 string) and is an accomplished player. In 2019 he received an endorsement by LSL Instrument. After graduation he continues to work as freelance recording- mixing engineer, guitar player, composer and arranger.
